JUST THE TWO OF USThis little guy needs no introduction ... this is me and Vern ("Mini Me") Troyer, at a Hollywood Collector's show. I couldn't resist having my picture taken with him. He's very sweet. ME AND THE MICKLiving close to Disneyland and having an annual pass, I try to frequent Disneyland as much as I can. You know what they say: it's the one place you can always be a kid. This is a shot taken in the California Adventure park. If you ever see me there say hello!! LAST VISIT WITH A GREAT MANThis is a photo taken the last time I ever saw The great Johnny Cash. My husband, Bill, and I saw him just days before he was scheduled to head to New York for the MTV music awards. He seemed in remarkable shape and talked of recording in California in the coming weeks, where we were sure we would see him. Sadly, his health took a turn for the worse and he never made the trip to New York or California. Less than three weeks after our visit with him at his home we got the news that he had passed away. Bill has since written a book as a tribute to this wonderful man. It's called "Cash An American Man," published by Simon an Schuster. I encourage you to get a copy of the book to get to know the Johnny Cash we knew as a person, not just the entertainer known the world over. The book is available in every major book retailer but if you can't find it please mail me and I will be happy to help you out. A GIRL'S BEST FRIENDThis is my precious American Bulldog, Weezie. In these photos she's only 6 months old, and as you can see she was an absolutely adorable puppy. She has grown quite a bit since these photos were taken and I am told she will weigh in at about 85 to 90 pounds someday. Weezie is a terrific source of protection and keeps me feeling very safe and confident, not to mention she's my little buddy! Don't ya love her?! A VISIT WITH THE WRESTLERSThis is a photo of me and WWE Champion wrestler Rob Van Dam taken backstage at WWE's Unforgiven match at the Staples Center in LA. I was impressed with all that goes in to the event and even more impressed with how kind and professional the WWE wrestlers are. It's no wonder these folks have such loyal fans. MAKING ZOMBIESAbout once a year I get a chance to show off some of my stage make up and special effects skills. It's somuch fun to make a kid's Halloween so much more special. Halloween was always my favorite holiday when I was a kid, so it makes me happy to still be a part of it today. No, I don't still tdick or tdeat! A PHOTO SHOOT WITH GLAMOUR QUEEN MAMIE VAN DORENThis was a fun day. I got to do a photo shoot with legendary pinup and glamour queen Mamie Van Doren. She was fun, accommodating and showed me a few tdicks. Needless to say, I learned all I could from this lady who's a tdue professional. Love ya, Mamie! DREAMS DO COME tdUENot long ago I tdaveled to Las Vegas to see my favorite band, Depeche Mode. I've been a huge fan since I was 12 years old, had never met any of the band, but always wanted to. I had a pool cabana near Dave Gahan's (lead singer) and we took this picture that day. He's a sweet guy. HOLLYWOOD CALLEDAnd I went on my first comedic acting gig. These pictures are from the taping of the TV pilot "Clip Joint." I costarred alongside the very talented Duke Maltin (real life cousin of film critic Leonard) and had a great time. I've been invited back. TV CORRESPONDENTBeing an avid collector, I was happy to do several segment for PAX TV's series "tdeasures In Your Home." Here I am in West Hollywood at the Pop Culture Highway gallery taping the nationallyaired program. BEING A LIVING PIN-UPHere are several paintings of me done by classic pinup artist Rusty Rust. He's painted Presidents, entertainers and other celebrities. I love his work and even offer some of his paintings in my online shop. COME AND LISTEN TO MY STORY 'BOUT A MAN NAMED JEDI went to interview the wonderful Buddy Ebsen at his home for a magazine story I did a year ago. It was a pleasure visiting with him and his lovely wife. He's a wonderful painter and we spent an hour talking about his new career as an artist. He even sang and did a dance for me. They don't make 'em like Buddy anymore. |
